  WARNING:  This is "NoT" AN April Fool's Joke!


Due to scheduling conflicts with the church, KIPCUG has rescheduled the General Meeting for April to meet on the 2nd Tuesday of April, which is April 8th, 2008.  Please make a note on your calendar.  General Meetings will resume on the normal 1st Tuesday of the month schedule beginning in May. 

If not...well...anyone standing inside the church on April 1st...okay, I won't say it...but it is so tempting...(biting my tongue <and smiling>)....

See you on Tuesday, April 8th!


Notice to KIPCUG Members

  • Annual report for 2008 is now located on the website.  It is available to all members after member log in.

  • KIPCUG's 2008 Board of Directors Slate has been provided by the nominating committee and is now available for viewing on the KIPCUG website.

  • Back to Basics:  Tom McArdle will be covering one of the utilities which is included on the Spring Utilities CD.

  • User to User: will be hosted by Brian Miller.

I am not referring to objectionable material, but in this context I am referring to websites that can load malware onto your computer by simply opening a webpage, or which contain fraudulent content. Many of the internet security suites provide some protection from browser vectored malware and dangerous content, but almost all of the security suites lack comprehensive protection.
