            March is here, and our 25 anniversary celebration continues!! Join us in March for more fun and merriment. We have an exciting program for you. Brian Miller will be on hand for our Back to Basics segment. Brian will update us on the ongoing recycling project, including a live demonstration of the work being done to refurbish usable machines, and also to strip one for parts. We will of course have him under a timer to see just how fast he can finish.

            Don’t forget to bring your questions in for our User2User segment. Helping our fellow members and guests find solutions to their problems is what KIPCUG is all about. So bring in your questions (with as much detail as you can), and we will attempt to find you a solution. Anonymous has put in multiple questions. Now it is your turn.

            Our nominating committee is ready to present their selection for next years Board of Directors. You don’t want to miss that presentation, and of course you may make your nominations from the floor.

            Looking ahead, we have upcoming presentations from Corel, Cool It, Grisoft, Meego, and much more. It will be an exciting year for KIPCUG. If there is a particular topic or presenter you would like to see, please let me know, and I will do my best to get them.

            We should have some Top Shelf prizes in March, including some full versions of software from Panda, and some from our Vegas trip. Some come out in March and help us celebrate 25 years of KIPCUG!! Prizes, raffle, great presentations and More!! See you there…..

KIPCUG Meeting Features:

Back-to-Basics: 

The KIPCUG General Meeting starts with the ever-helpful Back-to-Basics session.

Each month "Back-to-Basics" chooses a subject to improve everyone's basic/general knowledge. The sessions are intended to help the entry level user. Tom Scanlan leads our Back-to-Basics presentations.  Contact Tom with your suggestions for future topics.

User-to-User with Bob Rose

Bring your problems on a 3x5 card and we will try to give you a fix!

The User to User session with host Bob Rose is just before the Main Presentation, giving your KIPCUG friends a chance to answer YOUR questions submitted on paper. If YOU are having a problem with your PC, this is the time to get a good solution, so remember to bring your questions.  Follow up questions and discussions are posting on the KIPCUG Forum under "Users Helping Users."

Meet us at Friday's following the General Meeting!  We always invite the Presenter to socialize and have a late snack or meal.  Everyone is welcome.  Ask a few more questions.  Chat with other KIPCUG members.  We grab a few tables, have fun, network, and relax a little before returning home.  Grab a chair and join in! Friday's is located at 2311 Lime Kiln Road.  From the meeting take Brownsboro Road east to Lime Kiln, turn right, Friday's will be on your left.  Everyone pays for their own “snack.” See you there!
