MICROSOFT IS COMING, MICROSOFT IS COMING, MICROSOFT IS COMING.
Mr.
Bryan Von Axelson, from Microsoft, is coming. Bryan is the Main
Presenter, and is here to talk to us about the latest, greatest things
happening at Microsoft and why YOU should upgrade to Windows XP and
install Service Pack 2 (SP2) now if you haven’t already. Bryan will talk
on how to make this process as smooth as possible and give us all of the
latest tips, tricks and whys.
In
addition, Bryan will tell us the latest on Microsoft’s new Malicious
Software Removal Tool, why and how to use it and how it will help
protect you. Lastly, a HOT Preview of the upcoming "Microsoft's new
Anti-Spyware Tool"
You

about moving to Microsoft’s XP Operating System if you have not already
made the jump.

The KIPCUG General Meeting starts with the ever-helpful Back-to-Basics
session.
February's topic will be Ad-ware.
Each month "Back-to-Basics" chooses a subject to improve everyone's basic/general knowledge.
The sessions are intended to help the entry level user. Grant McCormick
leads our Back-to-Basics presentations. Contact Grant with your
suggestions for future topics. .
User-to-User with Bill Cull
Bring
your problems on a 3x5 card and we will try to give you a fix!
The User to User session with host Bill Cull is just before the Main
Presentation, giving your KIPCUG friends a chance to answer YOUR questions
submitted on paper. If YOU are having a problem with your PC, this is the
time to get a good solution, so remember to bring your questions.
