About KIPCUG

The Kentucky-Indiana Personal Computer User's Group, from its beginning in the spring of 1983, has grown into a dynamic non-profit corporation, focused on educating and encouraging newcomers to computing as well as sharing technical information.

KIPCUG is a forum for individuals who use personal computers compatible with the IBM PC-DOS and MS-DOS operating systems. We have expanded our horizons to include Windows and OS/2 systems, technologies which link PC's together and other computing platforms, like PDA's.

KIPCUG is viewed as one of the leading groups in the nation by industry giants such as  Microsoft, Novell, IBM, and others. KIPCUG is a charter member of APCUG, the Association of Personal Computer User Groups, linking us with similar groups all over the United States.

Who can join?
Any individual interested in personal computing is welcome to join by completing our standard membership application and paying annual dues of $40. (We also have student, corporate & family dues)

KIPCUG members come from large corporations, from schools and colleges, from small businesses and professional organizations and government agencies. Many members are home users and hobbyists. Some have little experience, while others are highly sophisticated "power users". Interests in hardware and software span the boundaries of personal computing. No matter your level of expertise you'll benefit from your KIPCUG experience.
